Subhi Fahmawi was born in Umm az-Zinat, near Haifa in 1948, received his BA in Agriculture from Alexandria University in 1969; Diploma in Landscape Design from University of California, Los Angeles in 1983. He worked as an editor of Al-Ra'i Newspaper (1975-1980); member of the Jordanian Writers Association; member of the Arab Writers Association; member of the Agriculture Engineers Association; member of Jordan Environment Society.
