Sharif Alhusseini was a Palestinian striver and writer. He was born in Palestine on 16 January 1938. Received his school education in Jerusalem, he then joined the American University of Beirut in 1955. He is a member of the Arab Nationalist Movement and the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine.

After the Israeli occupation, he fled Palestine to Yemen then Algeria until 1994. Returned Palestine in 1996 where he worked in "Beit Al Sharq" in Jerusalem; retired in early 2004. He died in Amman on 4-4-2011, buried in Sahab District.
