Siham Abdulhadi was born in Palestine in 1940. In 1948, she and her family emigrated to Damascus where she received her elementary and secondary education, obtained a Licentiate in Arabic Literature from Damascus University.

Siham has worked as a school teacher in Kuwait in 1956, she also worked in journalism, elected as a member of the General Union of Palestinian Writers and Journalists. She wrote a novel and short stories.
