Born in Lubya village, west of Tiberias 1945; founding member of the Palestinian National Liberation Movement (Fateh) 1965; former chief-editor of Fateh Newspaper 1970-1971, Al-Ashbal Magazine 1971 and Al-Maseera Magazine 1971-1973; representative of Fateh movement then as its ambassador in Sudan, Ethiopia, Pakistan, Sri Lanka and Kenya; resigned from his job as ambassador in 1989; a founding member of the General Union of Palestinian Writers and Journalists 1972.
