Born in Shufa village, Tulkarm 1938. He finished his secondary education at Al-Fadilyyah School in Tulkarm in 1956, he then moved to Germany, where he obtained a Diploma in Political Science from Munich University 1967. During his residency in Germany he continued his national activity; became the president of the General Union of the Arab Students in Austria and Germany from 1961-1963, after graduating, he could not return to Palestine because of the Israeli Occupation 1967; as a result, he moved to Damascus, where he worked as a researcher, member of the Palestinian National Council from 1970-1972, he is currently the vice president of the Palestinian Writers and Journalists in Syria 1986, member of the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP).
