Abdel Hamid Yassin was born in the city (Lod) in 1906, and completed his education at the College of the Teachers in Jerusalem in 1924, worked in teaching for six years before joining the American University to study Sociology, and graduated with a bachelor's in 1933 to resume work in teaching, and then at the Palestinian Broadcast. Transferred in 1937 to the post of a translator at the General Secretariat in Jerusalem, and worked as a translator during the English Mandate, and translated a number of books and articles.
Fill other jobs before the Nakba, including: Director of the Municipality (Jaffa) in 1947. After 1948, he emigrated to Jordan, and was appointed to the teacher institutes management, then an expert at UNESCO, then was named Secretary General of the University of Jordan when it was created, and then turn general director of Radio Jordan in 1967; died in 1975.
