Biography
A Palestinian filmmaker and award-winning documentary director, I have authored several books on film criticism. Born in Yarmouk Camp on March 5, 1963, I was displaced from our beloved Yarmouk and currently reside in Sweden. My family originates from the village of Al-Tira in the Haifa district, the Bride of the Mediterranean. I studied film and theater and graduated from the Sofia Film School in 1994. I became a member of the Swedish Writers' Union in 2018.
