Nicola Ziadeh: A Lebanese historian of Syrian origin, originally from Nazareth, he authored 40 books on Arab and Islamic history and translated numerous history books from English into Arabic, including works by Arnold Toynbee. He also wrote approximately 150 articles and delivered lectures at Arab and international conferences. His complete works have been collected and published in 23 volumes. He lectured at the American University of Beirut and Saint Joseph University, as well as at the University of Jordan. He also worked at the Lebanese University as a lecturer and supervisor.
