Ahmad al-Qaddumi: A Palestinian poet born in the town of Jayyous in the Qalqilya district. He studied Arabic literature at the University of Jordan in 1982. He began writing poetry before entering university, starting in middle school, but his first mature collection appeared in 1984. His poetry is characterized by its romanticism and vivid imagery. He is also known for his mastery of the quatrain form. Many of his poems have been published in Arab newspapers and magazines. He is a member of the Union of Palestinian Writers and Journalists – Riyadh.
