Ibrahim Fawal: An American academic and writer of Palestinian origin from the city of Ramallah, he holds a PhD in literature from Oxford University in England and a certificate in filmmaking from the United States. He worked as a professor in the field of film and literature at the University of Alabama. He worked as an assistant to director David Lean during the filming of "Lawrence of Arabia" in 1961. He is the author of the famous and award-winning novel "On the Hills of God," a novel about the experience of a young Palestinian man during the Nakba of 1948, which has been translated into Arabic and German.
