Rami Al-Asheq: A Syrian poet and journalist of Palestinian origin, currently residing in Germany. He writes for a number of Arabic websites and newspapers, and for German newspapers such as “Tatz”. He also wrote many songs for the Syrian singer Asala, including (“Ah if this chair could talk”, and the mawwals “Khayya wa Akhy” and “Daraa”). He is currently the editor-in-chief of “Abwab” newspaper (the first Arabic newspaper printed in Germany).
