Shukri al-Saeed (1920-) is a Palestinian playwright . He was born in Jerusalem and studied high school at Rawdat al-Maarif National College in Jerusalem. In 1941, he obtained a diploma in Islamic law and endowments from the Institute of Law in Jerusalem . In 1939, he founded the Culture and Arts Troupe with the participation of Musa Younis al-Husseini, Ghaleb al-Qawwas, Ali al-Raghib al-Husseini, and Hassan al-Afifi as members of the troupe.
He participated in acting and presented several theatrical parts for the Near East Radio Station and the Palestinian Radio Station. After the Nakba of 1948, he directed a Jordanian color film entitled “The Miser” in Arabic and worked on dubbing it into foreign languages.
His works
He published a radio play collection in two editions, the first in 1954 and the second in 1958, entitled Al-Quds Al-Sharif and Other Plays. His collection includes the following chapters:

"The migration of the Holy Prophet"
"Types of women"
"A nail in the summer"
"Wrong Woman"
"Marriage without a date"
"Heart of Ashes"
"Gaza the fighter"
"Holy Jerusalem"
All of these chapters were broadcast from the Palestinian Broadcasting Corporation here in Jerusalem , the Hashemite Jordanian Broadcasting Corporation in Amman , and the Near East Arabic Broadcasting Station in Jaffa .
