Amin Masoud Mahmoud Abu Bakr (1963-) is a Palestinian historian and researcher . He was born in the town of Ya'bad and studied primary and secondary school in its schools. He obtained his secondary school certificate in 1981. He obtained a BA in History from Yarmouk University in 1987, a Master's degree in 1990, and his thesis was entitled "Hebron District 1864-1918" and a PhD from the University of Jordan in 1996, and his dissertation was entitled "Land Ownership in the Jerusalem Governorate 1858-1918". He received several awards, including the Academic Excellence Award from Jordanian universities during his studies, a number of appreciation awards for scientific participation in Palestine and abroad, and the Dr. Kamel Al-Asali Award for Jerusalem Research "Jerusalem Day Amman" in the Jordanian capital in 1996. He worked as an assistant professor at the University of Jordan , Al-Quds Open University , and An-Najah National University in Nablus .
