Hafez Daoud Toukan ( 1931 - 2005 ) is an Arab writer and politician . He was born in the city of Nablus in 1931 to an ancient family in the fields of politics , literature, and business. His uncle was the poet Ibrahim Touqan .
He held many positions, the most important of which was the mayor of Nablus between 1986 and 1988.

His works

Leader Gamal Abdel Nasser, builder of the High Dam.
An eyewitness to the crimes of Zionism in Palestine in 1967.
In addition to books, Hafez Touqan published many articles in various Arab newspapers, which were republished in a book prepared by his daughter, Soha Hafez Touqan . Toukan died on August 24, 2005.
