The General Secretariat of the Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum International Photography Award, in the United Arab Emirates, announced the winners of the Instagram competition for the month of August 2019, whose theme was “The Harvest”.

The Palestinian photographer, Ayesh Muhammad Haroun, was among the winners of the competition for a photo he took in the Gaza Strip, where the traditional olive harvest season witnesses the gathering of family members in a pleasant social ritual.

The winners will receive a medal of appreciation for the award, and their photos and names will be published on the official account of the award on Instagram, HIPAae. The August competition witnessed the use of the hashtag #HIPAContest_HARVEST.
