The
Palestinian writer "Suzanne Al-Saabi" won first place for her novel
"As if I'm Dancing Like a Noun", in which she participated in the
Hanna Mina competition for the Arabic novel organized by the Syrian Ministry of
Culture, for Syrian Arab writers residing in Syria, to encourage competition to
present the best novel texts by novel writers. And a discovery of new voices that
did not take their right to spread.
While
the second place went to Enas Al-Oqla for her novel “Blue Shutters”, and the
third place went to Nizar Mezher for his novel “The Sacred Apples”.
Susan,
whose family roots go back to the village of Ain Ghazal, Haifa District, is a
Palestinian writer and storyteller residing in Syria. She studied media at
Damascus University, is a member of the Palestinian Writers and Journalists
Union, and the Story Association.
