Adeeb Abu Alwan (1943 - December 7, 2020) is a Palestinian writer, journalist and media personality. He joined the ranks of the Fatah movement early, where he worked with the leader Khalil Al-Wazir “Abu Jihad”. He also worked in the field of media, and was the head of the branch of the General Union of Palestinian Writers and Journalists in Britain.

He was born in a national town in the Bisan district in 1943, and he is one of the first Palestinians from the occupied territories in 1948 to join the Fatah movement, where he joined the ranks of the revolution in 1969 and formed organizational work cells and worked with the founder, Khalil Al-Wazir (Abu Jihad).
He is a graduate of the Hebrew University in Jerusalem. He was a member of the Fatah Region Committee in the United Kingdom, then became the region’s commissioner. He is the head of the branch of the General Union of Palestinian Writers and Journalists in the United Kingdom.
He had previously organized a Palestinian festival in London in 1982, in which the late poets Samih al-Qasim, Mahmoud Darwish and Moin Bseiso participated. He is one of the founders of the British Friendship Associations and Trade Unions for Palestine. He worked as a journalist for Al-Sharq Al-Awsat newspaper, as well as he was the production manager for the MBC network, and he worked in BBC and Jerusalem newspaper Al-Quds. After that, he returned to Palestine and worked as the general manager of Radio 2000.
Adeeb Abu Alwan passed away on December 7, 2020 in London.
