Hafez Daoud Touqan (1931-2005), Arab writer and politician. He was born in Nablus in 1931 to a well-established family in the fields of politics, literature and business. His uncle, the poet Ibrahim Touqan.

He held many positions, the most important of which was the presidency of the Nablus municipality between 1986 and 1988.
