- Professor of Theoretical Physics / University of Jordan.
- Member of the Jordanian Academy of Arabic Language (1984 - ).
- Secretary General/Arab Thought Forum (1/8/2009-31/1/2011);
Director of Studies and Programs Department and Deputy Secretary-General (1/9/1999 - 31/7/2009);
    Editor-in-chief of Al-Muntada magazine (1/9/1999-31/1/2011);
    Adviser to HRH Prince El Hassan bin Talal Al Moazam (1/9/1999-31/1/2011).

- Born in Amman: 27/4/1948.
He is married and has two daughters: Anas and Ea. And one son: Al-Harith.
He received his BA in Physics (Honours) from the University of Manchester, England, in 1971; and a Diploma in Advanced Studies in Science in 1972; and a PhD in Theoretical Physics in 1974, from the same university.
He held the following positions at the University of Jordan: Head of the Physics Department (9/1986-10/1988); Dean of Scientific Research (1/1990-1/1994); Editor-in-chief of the cultural magazine (1989-1998).

- Visiting Professor / Cornell University, USA (10/1983-8/1984).

Publishing a large number of research papers in theoretical physics in specialized international journals; He also published research and other articles on our scientific heritage, Arabization, thought and development; In addition to scientific, literary and philosophical books.
- Supervised the writing/translation of several academic and scientific books; He also edited the proceedings of a number of conferences; He was the editor-in-chief of the Journal of Studies for a period of four years (1990-1994) [in his capacity as Dean of Scientific Research].
He also supervised the full and strict supervision of a large number of postgraduate students' theses (Master's and Ph.D.).
- Participated in dozens of international, Arab and local conferences, meetings and symposia.
