Mazen Al-Khatib is an Assistant Professor who obtained his Ph.D. from the University of Jordan in 2010 in the field of sports training and sports management. He has held various positions, including Technical Director of the Palestinian Football Association and Secretary-General of the Palestinian Olympic Committee. Currently, he serves as the President of the Palestinian Athletics Federation since 2017.

He has worked as a coach and developer of training programs in Palestine and has participated in numerous workshops aimed at developing Palestinian, Arab, Asian, and global sports. He has contributed to the formulation of sports development strategies in Palestine for the Football Association, the Olympic Committee, and the Palestinian Athletics Federation.

Mazen has attended training courses across the Arab world and has participated in various training programs, including one affiliated with the International Olympic Committee in the United States. He also took part in a scientific research visit as part of the Palestinian Quebec Science Bridge Program for two months at the University of Montreal, Canada (UQAM).

He has published several research papers related to sports development in developing societies and serves as a lecturer for sports management courses at the International Center for Sports Studies (CIES), the academic arm of FIFA. Moreover, he has supervised graduation projects in Palestine for ten years, overseeing and discussing numerous master's theses related to sports business leadership programs.

Additionally, he has been the project manager for the sports incubator project in Palestine funded by the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) for several years.
