Walid Salah was born in Nablus in 1916. Walid graduated from the American University of Beirut in 1934, received his MA from the Law Faculty in Jerusalem in 1939.
Walid has practiced law in Palestine from 1939 until 1967 (The Six-Day War), served as chairman of the Bar Association 1960-1964, member of the Jordanian Senate 1972-1974/1984, member of the Jordanian delegation in the Non-Aligned Movement 1973, the Jordanian Ambassador in Lebanon and Greece 1975-1976, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Mister of Social Affairs 1955; Minister of Justice, Reconstruction and Development 1957.
He currently lives in Amman, Jordan.
