Ghazi Falah: A Canadian geographer, political and social expert of Palestinian origin from the village of Al-Fallahat in the Galilee region. He holds a doctorate in geography, taught at An-Najah, Hebron and Tel Aviv universities, moved to Canada and was appointed associate professor in the Department of Geography and Planning at the University of Toronto, then studied at the University of Paris. He founded the Galilee Center for Social Research in Nazareth, which specializes in discussing the conditions of Arab communities within the Green Line. He moved to America and was appointed dean of the Department of Geography and Planning at Acorn University in Ohio.
