Dr. Amjad Issa is an assistant professor in the Department of Civil Engineering at An-Najah National University in Palestine since August 2016. He previously worked as a part-time lecturer at An-Najah National University from 2008-2012.

He worked as a researcher during his doctoral studies. He holds a PhD in Civil Engineering specializing in Developing a Priority System for Maintenance and Management of Pavements and Bridges in Developing Countries as part of an ERASMUS MUDUS PEACE PROGRAM grant.

He holds a Master’s degree from An-Najah National University specializing in Roads and Transportation in 2006. He also holds a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from An-Najah University in 1999. He has published a number of research papers related to the management and maintenance of pavements and buildings, in addition to modeling the deterioration of the structural condition of pavements in the city of Nablus.
