Dr. Khairy Hassan, born in Ain Yabrud in 1965, is an Assistant Professor. He completed his secondary education in the scientific branch at Ain Yabrud Boys' Secondary School from 1985 to 1986. He obtained a Bachelor's degree in Arabic Literature from Birzeit University, Palestine, in 1993. Later, he pursued his Master's degree in Arabic Literature and Criticism at Yarmouk University, Jordan, graduating in 1997. He completed his Doctorate in Arabic Literature at the University of Jordan.

Research Interests:

Dr. Khairy has a keen interest in editing manuscripts from ancient heritage, particularly from the Abbasid era.
He focuses on writing research papers related to classical literature, criticism, Arabic novels, and comparative literature.
He is interested in applying modern critical approaches to analyze ancient Arabic texts, essentially reinterpreting our ancient literature.
