Saida Affouna holds a doctorate from Britain in planning for education in times of war and emergencies, after obtaining a master’s and bachelor’s degree from An-Najah National University in mathematics, and then she obtained a driver’s license for higher education institutions from the Sloan Consortium in the United States of America. She received two awards for excellence. Specializing in teaching and learning, she founded and managed the e-learning center at An-Najah National University and currently works as dean of the College of Educational Sciences and Teacher Education. She worked in several universities and in various administrative positions and has many publications and research papers. She was the committee's top rapporteur to review the educational process in Palestine and presented a report diagnosing the reality of education to the Council of Ministers and it was approved for reform.
