The Palestinian doctor, Sarah Al-Sakka, a graduate from the Faculty of Medicine at the Islamic University in Gaza, obtained a Palestinian board certificate, in the specialty of general surgery, to be the first surgeon in the Gaza Strip, after a 12-year study.
