He holds a Bachelor's degree from the College of Medicine in Rome - Italy in 1987. He held the position of President of the Muslim Student Union in Rome for 4 years.

Then he established the medical center of the Ramallah Zakat Committee and took over its management until 1996.

He obtained the Palestinian Board in Anesthesia and Intensive Care from Al-Makassed Hospital in occupied Jerusalem in 2001.
