Tarek Loubani: A Canadian physician of Palestinian origin from Gaza City, he studied medicine in Gaza and worked at Al-Shifa Hospital before moving to Canada. He is an assistant professor at the University of Western Ontario and runs a project to provide medical and therapeutic equipment to poor areas, particularly the Gaza Strip. In 2015, he invented a low-cost stethoscope that uses 3D technology and has been registered in his name.
