Samer Allawi is a Palestinian journalist and Al Jazeera correspondent in Afghanistan . Samer was born in 1966 in Nablus . The Israeli occupation authorities arrested Samer while he was spending his vacation in his hometown in Nablus on charges of belonging to the Hamas movement , and then released him after 49 days of investigation.
