Riad Attari (May 9, 1963 in Araba, Jenin -) is a Palestinian politician and social activist , holding the position of Minister of the Palestinian Ministry of Agriculture within the government of Muhammad Shtayyeh . He is a member of the Palestinian National Council .

Childhood and educational attainment

On May 9, 1963, Riad Muhammad Yusef Atari was born in the town of Arraba , in the Jenin Governorate, in the northern West Bank . Attari holds a master's degree in sociology, development and policy-making.

 Working life

• In 1989, he participated in the establishment of the Palestinian Democratic Union - Feda .  He ran in the 2006 Palestinian legislative elections in the Jenin district .
•  On April 13, 2019, Riad Atari was sworn in as Palestinian Minister of Agriculture within the government of Muhammad Shtayyeh .
