Fouad Mahmoud Yassin Salaymeh (Abu Sakher; born 1932 in the village of Al-Shajara, Tiberias District – died December 8, 2011 in Ankara) was a Palestinian journalist, diplomat, refugee, and a member of the Fatah movement.
practical life
In 1968, the Palestinian leadership commissioned him to establish and establish the Voice of the Storm/Voice of Palestine radio station in Cairo to be a spokesperson for the Palestine Liberation Organization, and he continued there until 1974.
In 1976, he was appointed director of the Palestine Liberation Organization's office in Poland and later in Spain.
He was appointed in 1990 as the representative of the Palestine Liberation Organization to Turkey, and on March 17, 1996, he was reappointed as the representative of the Palestinian National Authority to the Republic of Turkey, and continued in the position until 2005.
Death
Fuat Yassin died in the Turkish capital, Ankara, on December 8, 2011, and was buried on December 13, 2011 in Ankara.
