Khaled Abdel Majid, a Palestinian politician who leads a splinter organization from the Palestinian Popular Struggle Front led by Samir Ghosheh. He defected after the latter became close to Yasser Arafat and agreed to the Oslo Accords. Each side claims that it has legitimacy and so far all attempts at reconciliation have failed. His opponents accuse him of working for Syria, while he considers the Executive Committee of the Palestine Liberation Organization to be illegitimate. He lives in Damascus and is a member of the National Congress. Khaled Abdel Majeed, a Palestinian hero known for his nationalist stances, opposed agreements harmful to the interests of the Palestinian people, knowing that he participated in operations against the Zionist enemy with his comrades on the front, such as the martyrs George Saba Hassan Shaker Abu Hassan al-Gharbi
