Born in Nablus in 1905
He worked in the education sector for many years in various cities and villages in Palestine, the last of which was as the principal of King Talal School in Nablus.
In 1960 he became a member of the Jordanian Parliament
In 1963, he was appointed Minister of Finance in the government of Sharif Hussein bin Nasser, as well as a member of the Jordanian Senate.
He died in 1972
