Информация

Mohammed Saleh Zeidan was born in the town of Deir al-Ghusun in the Tulkarm Governorate on February 27, 1959. He is married and has five children. He completed his primary education in Deir al-Ghusun schools and obtained his high school diploma in Jordan in 1978.
Zaidan joined the ranks of the Democratic Front for the Liberation of Palestine in 1980, and became involved in its trade union and political activities. He was a member of the administrative body of the Workers' Union in the Tulkarm Governorate, and became the union's secretary in 1985. He was active in the field against the occupation and was responsible for the "strike forces" in the northern region during the First Intifada. He joined the Fida Party at the beginning of the 1990s, and became its secretary in the Tulkarm Governorate, then a member of its central committee, and a member of the factional coordination committee in the Tulkarm Governorate.
The occupation pursued Zidan for three years during the First Intifada, and he was shot by its forces while they were trying to arrest him in 1990. The occupation prevented him from traveling to receive treatment after he was injured.
Zidan calls for social justice and believes in equality and democracy. He demands that the focus be on teaching the rising generations that “we have an occupied homeland that must be liberated,” and that Palestinians should have a special vision that is not linked to states.
He believes that the Oslo Accords do not live up to the Palestinians' aspirations for liberation, and that the Palestinian division has shattered the morale and revolutionary spirit of the Palestinian people and harmed the Palestinian cause, and that overcoming it has become difficult, especially with regional interventions. He believes that the Palestinian people have the right to practice all forms of resistance, especially since all international conventions, including the Geneva Convention, affirm the right of the occupied people to resist their occupier by all means, and he calls for the inclusion of all political orientations of the Palestine Liberation Organization.
