Rabee Azad Ahmad is a Danish lawyer and politician of Palestinian origin from the city of Acre. He emigrated from Lebanon to Denmark and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Law with a specialization in Human Rights and Criminal Law from Aarhus University.
He currently serves as Deputy Mayor of Aarhus Municipality in Denmark and is the political spokesperson for the Social Liberal Party (Radikale Venstre) in Aarhus.
Ahmad was honored by the College of Law, Department of Human Rights, at the University of Cincinnati in Ohio, USA. In 2008, he was selected to participate in the International Visitor Leadership Program (Multinational Program) as Denmark’s representative and municipal council delegate in the United States, where he visited five states — Washington, New York, Ohio, Arizona, and Florida — in a program focused on foreign policy and human rights.
