Samir Hussein Ali Al-Rifai is a Palestinian diplomat and politician . He was appointed on May 29, 2021 as the Ambassador of the State of Palestine to Syria, succeeding Mahmoud Al-Khalidi , [2] and on June 8, 2021 he presented his credentials to the Syrian Minister of Foreign Affairs. [3] On June 14, 2021, he presented it to the Syrian President. [4] He is a member of the Central Committee of the Fatah movement and Commissioner of Foreign Territories
