Marouf Zahran is mayor of the Palestinian town of Qalqilya in the occupied West Bank from 1995-2005.

Zahran was born in Qalqilya 1955, studied English language at Cairo University; joined Fatah Movement in an early age; worked as a translator for the VIPs tourists and groups at Queen Alia Airport - Jordan; returned to Qalqilya and worked there as a teacher; elected as a member of the Palestinian National Liberation Movement; member of the Palestinian National Council.
