The head of the Arab Women's Union Association in Nablus since 1979 and a distinguished pioneer in the field of voluntary social work since 1947, she dedicated her time, effort, and money silently and sincerely to serving the citizens of her country   and contributing to raising the level of social, health, and educational services there. She was a guardian of orphans, a comforter to the grieving, and a helper to the needy until she answered her Lord's call. She played a prominent role in consolidating the foundations of the Women's Union Association and contributed significantly to supporting its institutions. The late Mrs. Hajja Rushda Taher Al-   Masri passed away on Thursday, June 7, 1984.
