Dr. Abdel Hafiz Samir Dalaab is a Palestinian veterinarian from the city of Tulkarm. He graduated top of his class from the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine at An-Najah National University in 2009, earning a Certificate of Excellence from the university and a Certificate of Appreciation from the Ministry of Higher Education.
He represented Palestine at the International Conference on Livestock Research in the Middle East and North Africa held in Egypt in 2008, where he was the youngest participant. Dr. Dalaab is a member of the Jordanian Veterinary Association. During his stay in Jordan, he earned a Master’s degree in Histology and Veterinary Anatomy in 2011 with distinction. He was selected by the faculty council to serve as a Research and Teaching Assistant in courses on anatomy and histology.
He currently serves as a lecturer in the Department of Veterinary Anatomy at the College of Veterinary Medicine and Animal Resources at King Faisal University in Saudi Arabia. He participated in King Faisal University’s mission for the inspection and monitoring of sacrificial animals during the Hajj season of 1434 AH and attended the Sustainability of Production and Reproduction in Camels conference at King Faisal University in 2012.
Dr. Dalaab has also produced a genetically modified generation of chicks capable of withstanding heat stress up to 44°C, and he has published this research internationally.
