Basel Kamal Abdul-Razeq, born in Kuwait in 1981, returned to Palestine after the war in 1991. He pursued his education at An-Najah National University, earning a Bachelor's degree in English Literature in 2004, followed by a Master's in Applied Linguistics and Translation from 2005 to 2007. Basel began his professional career at An-Najah National University in 2012, where he worked in the Language Center. He was appointed Head of the Language Center in 2016, contributing significantly to its development. That same year, he launched the Najah English News bulletin at the Najah Media Center. Alongside his academic roles, Basel has served as a translator for the Palestinian Academy for Security Sciences and continues to teach English full-time at An-Najah National University, while also working as a certified oral examiner for the British Council since 2012.
