Lawyer Wael Hijazi is a Palestinian human rights and social activist.
About him
He is one of the social activists in Palestine . He has been active in this field from 1970 until now and won the first ideal volunteer award in Palestine and several awards from various parties.
He represented Palestine in many international conferences, and has several publications in the print media in Al-Quds, An-Nahar , and Al-Hayat newspapers . He recently published a book called The Golden Book, which included all the personalities of the Hebron Governorate who left an academic, political, or social impact, as well as those holding the rank of “Professor” and others who obtained a patent or an international award. One of his most famous articles is (“A Movie with Two Tickets”), in which he talked about the burning of Al-Aqsa Mosque in 1969.
He headed the Palestinian Red Crescent Society for a long period, during which he brought the first ambulance into the city of Hebron as a donation from the Red Cross in 1976. He also headed the Palestinian Press Without Borders organization in 2006.
