She joined the PhD program in the academic year 2016/2017. She holds a Master’s degree in International Development and Cooperation (MICAD) from Bethlehem University, and a Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy from An-Najah National University. Her research interests focus on education in Palestine, critical discourse analysis of textbooks, critical multi-media analysis, and ethnography of education.

She is currently working on her thesis on studying Palestinian identity in national curricula and teachers’ and students’ interaction with it under the supervision of Dr. Islah Jad.
