A Palestinian engineer has achieved an environmentally friendly building stone, by introducing waste ash into its manufacture.

The stones, designed by the Palestinian engineer Hussam Al-Aqraa from the Gaza Strip, are distinguished by their sound and heat insulation in particular. It gives an innovative way to take advantage of the organic materials accumulated in the landfills in abundance in the Gaza Strip.

Al-Aqraa transferred this experience through his studies and work in France for several years.
