Information
Muhammad bin Saleh bin Hassan Siam ( 1910 - January 30, 1991 AD / 1328 AH - 1411 AH), is a Palestinian calligrapher , born in the displaced village of Lifta in the city of Jerusalem . The calligraphy was taken from Abdul Qadir Al-Shihabi and from Sayyid Ibrahim from Egypt.
His death
He died on the evening of Wednesday, January 30, 1991 AD , corresponding to Rajab 15, 1411 AH, following a severe heart attack. He was then buried in the Bab al-Sahira cemetery in Jerusalem , in a place adjacent to the shrine of Jerusalem historian Arif al-Aref .

He has a number of pamphlets and published two books on calligraphy.
He has several educational books to simplify learning Arabic calligraphy, including:

Achievements and Awards
Awards
He won several international awards and was appointed the Dean of Calligraphers in the Arab and Islamic World by the Islamic Conference Committee for the Preservation of Arab and Islamic Heritage.
Ajloun Art Festival Award in 1960.
Appreciation Award in the First International Calligraphy Competition in Istanbul in 1986 (known as the Hamid Al-Amidi Calligrapher Competition).
The first appreciation award from the Jerusalem International Conference for Palestinian Popular Heritage in 1987 AD.
He was awarded the Palestine Medal for Arts at a festival held in Cairo in 1990
